COMPASS OPIOID PRESCRIBING AND TREATMENT GUIDANCE TOOLKIT

This toolkit holds resources to help clinicians limit new opioid prescriptions, optimize nonopioid pain management strategies, implement risk management and harm reduction strategies for patients on chronic opioid therapy, and diagnose and treat patients struggling with opioid use disorder.

The Compass Opioid Stewardship Certificate Program Perinatal Substance Use Disorder Toolkit 

Resources listed in this toolkit have been adapted from successful harm reduction and treatment programs and hold the promise to help clinicians reverse the surge in opioid overdose deaths, especially in the pregnant and postpartum population.

The Beacon Newsletter

The Beacon serves as an informative resource for providers by giving early access to newly released materials, educational opportunities and important updates. This newsletter is also a chance for the network to show support and recognize program participants by highlighting their successes and sharing their stories with others in the Compass OPSS Community. This newsletter is distributed the second Wednesday of each month.

News and updates are posted to the Compass Opioid Stewardship Certificate Program's Facebook group page. The focus of this page is to give everyone the opportunity to be open and share their voice.
